Baidu official blog notices that Baidu is going to release rankings of China cosmetics brands at Shanghai Four Seasons Hotel this Thursday. A serials of top brands lists will be published, such as most concerned high-end cosmetics brands by Chinese netizens, most attention shampoo brands in China ,etc. It’s about 15 rankings list totally to announce.

Last month, Baidu released home appliances brands list to start its brands lists of industry. It reflects what brands are concerned by Chinese netizens in 2006. And more reports of other industry will be published for the future.

Sina technology channel mentions that Google China will open a research lab in Shanghai to attract fresh graduates. This will help Google to improve its technique for the fierce competition.

The new lab will mainly research online advertisement and ameliorate its ads system, which contains Adwords and Adsense.

Baidu changed its Japanese site home page yesterday. It displays a market survey of CNNIC that shows Baidu has 62.1% of internet users in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

It also announced recruitment advertisements to start its Japan‘s business.
